Lucy, Jessica or Robyn?

My favourite is Lucy.

His favorite is Jessica.

Robyn is an ok one. Maybe a middle name if it doesn't grow. Also like Iris as a middle name.

Lucy!

VienneseWhirligig · 27/11/2020 11:07

All great names but my favourite is Robyn.

clpsmum · 27/11/2020 11:09

Lucy

Really don't like Robyn and it's very very popular where I am

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 27/11/2020 11:17

Our dd is Iris Robyn so I vote that!! We always get positive comments on her name.

Out of Lucy or Jessica I prefer Jessica.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 27/11/2020 11:19

Lucy.

Christmasbiscuit · 27/11/2020 11:21

Robyn. Lucy and Jessica are far too overused.

IndieRo · 27/11/2020 11:22

Definately Robyn. Lucy very common and Jessica is very 80's.

Luckymummy123 · 27/11/2020 11:58

Lucy is my vote. I was considering it for DD2.

Whatsyourflava · 27/11/2020 12:00

Lucy!

Pudding01 · 27/11/2020 12:00

@IndieRo can I ask where you are? as I have never met a Lucy under 30 and only know two. Just interested to see where the name is more popular/common.

There is a Jessica in my DD's preschool class.

In order of preference:
Robyn
Jessica
Lucy

For what it's worth, I know the following:
2 x Robyn (age 1 & 45)
4 x Jessica (age 15, 38, 41 & 45)
3 x Lucy (age 7, 30 & 45)

Zofloratheexplora · 27/11/2020 12:07

They're all nice. Robyn is my favourite. Maybe just see what she looks like when born?

IndieRo · 27/11/2020 12:19

@Pudding01,Im in Ireland, so might be different here.

Pudding01 · 27/11/2020 13:13

So far... Pretty split between Lucy & Robyn:

Robyn = 5 (6 if you include @Dinosaursdontgrowontrees Iris Robyn - Lovley name BTW 🙂)

Lucy = 5

Jessica = 0

When are you due?Robyn is a gorgeous Christmassy name, but I love it at any time of the year. The other two choices are ok but very middle of the road to me, Robyn stands out.

BigusBumus · 27/11/2020 13:19

I love Robyn Iris, that's a lovely name, interesting and fairly unusual without being out there.

Jessica will pretty much definitely become Jess or Jessie, if you're ok with that?

Lucy is pretty but might be a tad boring....

Robyn Iris. 😍

LooneyLovefood · 27/11/2020 13:22

I've known lots of girls named Jessica over the last ten years or so, three Lucys but no Robyns.

My favourite is definitely Lucy, it's such a classic. Jessica is pretty and you have options of Jess & Jessi as nicknames which I love. Robyn is pretty too though.

Flowerpot345 · 27/11/2020 13:24

Jessica

DominaShantotto · 27/11/2020 13:32

I'm very biased - I have a Robyn (Isabelle middle name after a relative). Have met the odd other one but not many - every single class at school seems to have a Jess/Jessica in it, and a lot of Lucie spelt Lucy around here too.

Nickname is usually Bobbi or Birdie or she also answers to "Whose shoes are these abandoned in the middle of the floor"

DominaShantotto · 27/11/2020 13:33

Now mine is older and more crafty it does cost me a fortune in anything cute with robins on that she insists she MUST have and she's now outsourced into wheedling anything Batman related as "he's got a Robin and I'm a Robyn so it should be mine"

Pudding01 · 27/11/2020 13:44

I agree on the Jessica popularity. Lovely name, very pretty and I don't mind the nns. However it is a popular name, like Jack, which is my DP's favourite boys name.

I am (pleasantly) surprised that Robyn is getting so many votes!

Lucy is still my favourite, my DD would have had that name if we didn't choose Erin.

I don't like Robyn I'm afraid, love Lucy and Lucy iris sounds lovely

DominaShantotto · 27/11/2020 13:53

Hah OP - my other DD is an Erin!

Pudding01 · 27/11/2020 13:57

@DominaShantotto 😂 Well don't we have very similar tastes!
