My favourite is Lucy.

His favorite is Jessica.

Robyn is an ok one. Maybe a middle name if it doesn't grow. Also like Iris as a middle name.

So, if we go Lucy (if we even have a girl!)

Lucy Iris H....
Lucy Robyn H....
Lucy Jessica H....
Lucy Aisling/Ashlyn H....

Liked the idea of a flower middle name, but only because Erin's is Rose and I'm a popular plant this time of year 🤣

I like Lucy Iris and Lucy Aisling best Smile

DeeandraReynolds · 28/11/2020 16:52

Oh just saw the plant connection! Has to be Lucy Iris then!

pincertoe · 28/11/2020 17:04

I love the name Lucy and wish I had pushed for it more with dd.

Boxofpinot · 28/11/2020 17:54

I've said twice so I'll say it again.... LUCY IRIS!!!! 😂 😂 😂 😂

Pudding01 · 28/11/2020 18:23

I want Lucy Iris!! 😅😂 I'm selling it well to him as we speak! Where were you ladies on my boys name post. You're brilliant

Lucy bloody Iris MrPudding! Or pinot will be round your gaff looking menacing!

mangothoughts · 28/11/2020 18:50

I like Lucy and Jessica but both so popular. I am a teacher and know an awful lot of Lucy's, several Jessica's and two Robyns (though I'm not a fan of Robyn). If I had to pick I would go with Jessica as it has more nn possibilities: Jess, Jessa, Jessy, JJ, Decca (always reminds me of the Mitford sisters). Or even go for something alternative like - Jessamie/Jessamy or Jessamine.

Pudding01 · 28/11/2020 19:36

Can I ask where you're based? I have seen Lucy is popular in Ireland. But the chart someone posted showed Lucy isn't even in the top 50.

I do like Jess, but that's it. The other names are perfectly fine, but not my taste unfortunately. Prefer classics to the longer frillyish ones 😊 x

@DeeandraReynolds 😂😂😂 I'm a 5ft2 beast!!! 😂 😂 😂
@pudding01, good job, keep going!!! I haven't seen your boys name thread, point me in the right direction and I shall work my magic 🤣🤣🤣

Pudding01 · 28/11/2020 21:21

It ended up being about who's surname the kids having. Pissed me right off 😂 it's called something like "I like one, he likes another, we both like the third"

Found it op! Read the op, immediately said "George" to myself and then saw that was your choice Grin. God that thread went on a bit!

DeeandraReynolds · 28/11/2020 21:27

Grin pinot

Retrievemysanity · 28/11/2020 21:40

I have a Jessica so I’m biased. I named her after the most lovely little girl I babysat for when I was a teen. Love the shortened Jessie and Jess too. She’s 12 now and there were about 3 others in her year at primary school but it was never an issue for us. For me, it’s a popular name because it’s so lovely! I like Lucy too and know a couple of school aged girls with this name. Robyn isn’t to my taste really and I only know one girl with this name who is 5.

Pudding01 · 28/11/2020 21:58

Yay to George! 🤣🤣 I knowwww. I appreciated the sentiment but bloody hell, I only asked which boy's name is best!

RoseMartha · 28/11/2020 22:53

Lucy

resm · 28/11/2020 23:06

Love Lucy! Lucy Jessica or Jessica Lucy so that way you’re both getting your fav name in there? That’s how we compromised with our second son’s name.

Thethingswedoforlove · 28/11/2020 23:27

Lucy is such a lovely name

Whatsyourflava · 28/11/2020 23:27

Don't know any Lucy's under 30

Boxofpinot · 29/11/2020 10:42

Oh crikey @pudding01, just found the other thread, agree with @DeeandraReynolds that got a bit off track and deep quite quickly!! 😂 😂 😂
For what it's worth I prefer George too and your husband sounds lovely to take surname combinations into consideration

CharlieBoo · 29/11/2020 15:58

Lucy by far the nicest... Robyn is very marmite

Quickedyquick · 29/11/2020 16:56

100% Jessica

Pudding01 · 29/11/2020 16:57

@Boxofpinot I know! Did not expect the conversation to turn in to what it did. Yay for another George vote! 🤣
