Hi.

I am pregnant with our (definitely) last child. We have 2 DS already. We've found out that we're having DS number 3😂. I was completely adamant this one felt different and have been very excited to use my favourite girls name. Lost many bets. Alas.

Lucy is youthful, sweet and elegant.
It means light.
It has both vintage and modern appeal.
It's timeless.

It's not a name suited to a boy, though.

My Q to you is what is the boys equivalent of such a classic yet modern and fresh sounding name? (We have a Jack and Tom). DH likes Finn.

Help! Help! Help!

Congratulations! I love Hugo and Noah. Young yet ageless

I think you should save the name 'Gary'. ;)

Chilldonaldchill · 06/11/2020 18:38

I know a Lucian. I really like it and I think it would fit fine with your other boys...

CornishW · 06/11/2020 18:40

Aaron
Benjamin
Daniel
Isaac
Samual
Tobias
All these sound classic and modern to me.

Nannewnannew · 06/11/2020 18:42

Hugo is nice. Noah as well, but it’s very popular at the moment.

Lucian. Or Lucien.

Was second on our list.

Whenwillow · 06/11/2020 18:45

I immediately though Lucian and I'm pleased to see it suggested.

OohThatCat · 06/11/2020 18:46

Leon?

BoudicasBoudoir · 06/11/2020 18:46

Not Lucian.

Some people (most Americans?) would pronounce it Looshan and that sounds horrible.

DieCryHate · 06/11/2020 18:46

I know so many little Lucys. The ones I know have brothers called Adam, Edward, Max and Michael.

Daniel?

Lucien is better. (Yes I have one)
