We thought of this name for our baby boy and wanted some opinions on it! We wanted something unique but not too out of the norm. Thanks. :)

@Notverybright

CEO Cash Kingsley wants to build the new headquarters of his business empire in a quaint, old fashioned American town of Kingsley Wisconsin. The only problem is he would have to tear down the community centre to do it.

Can a school teacher and her cute nephew convince him to change his mind? Will they find love along the way?

Find out in Cashing Heart next week on the hallmark channel.

Oooh, I want to watch that. The Xmas version, where he gets de-scrooged by the cute little nephew.

Ridiculous. Whatever will become a name next...Quid Queensley? Coin Caracatus? Don't do this to your child.

Fartleking · 22/09/2020 00:09

It sounds like a character from a trashy romance novel. Sorry.

I like Kingsley as a middle name though...

Nathaniel (Nate) Kingsley
Max Kingsley
Willem Kingsley
Io Kingsley
Rafe Kingsley

Cash isn't an awful name, its just very North American. Along the lines of Cole, Zayne, zaden, Jaden, Hunter, Sawyer, Ryder Logan. All very popular at my kids school.

Ritascornershop · 22/09/2020 00:14

Cash? As a name? Whole world’s gone mad.

WinWinnieTheWay · 22/09/2020 00:15

Pawn shop

GarlicSoup · 22/09/2020 00:22

Sounds like a country and western singer.

katy1213 · 22/09/2020 00:31

DisKount Karpet salesman?

Pachonga · 22/09/2020 00:32

Awful, sorry. Don’t saddle your kid with that.

Brockwell · 22/09/2020 00:36

Chavvy.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 22/09/2020 00:44

I can't seem to get the stress right. I'm saying it as if it's double barrelled.

Cash-Kingsley. I think it's very tempting to run them together.

occa · 22/09/2020 01:05

Please don't do this to an actual human being.

It's awful.

BbcBreakfastisCrap · 22/09/2020 01:06

I’m sorry but no on every level.

ladybirdsarelovely33 · 22/09/2020 01:11

You could get away with it in the US but not the UK

Rubybluesy · 22/09/2020 01:15

Terrible

allthewaterinthetap · 22/09/2020 01:17

He'll get called 'Cash Convertors'.

Costacoffeeplease · 22/09/2020 01:18

Awful

SD1978 · 22/09/2020 01:27

@ktp100 - me too!!! "Cash me outside". Sprung immediately to mind!!!! Also not keen on the alliteration. It would be a no from me, but so many kids are getting 'unique' names now, it's pretty standard. I do wonder though why the parents don't just change their own name in this constant need for uniqueness and maybe leave the kids out of it......

DramaAlpaca · 22/09/2020 01:36

Oh dear. You're getting a hard time here, OP, but posters on this board are notorious for their honesty and plain speaking. If a name isn't good, you'll be told straight.

Anyway, my opinion for what it's worth - it's not good. Cash is very odd as a first name and the two names together just don't work. May I gently suggest a rethink.

blueshoes · 22/09/2020 01:38

Cash is King. Just no.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 22/09/2020 01:51

“Whole worlds gone mad.”

You mean you’ve only just found out ConfusedGrin

Kote · 22/09/2020 02:23

I also thought country singer/cowboy

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 22/09/2020 02:30

If you like it that's all that matters.
I like it even though I do also like classic old names like George, Albert & Theo.

RomanyBlood · 22/09/2020 02:33

Cash is beyond terrible.

Suzi888 · 22/09/2020 02:35

Really don’t like the forename Cash, sorry. Kingsley sounds like a good, strong name though.
