Brazil?

Thoughts on “Brazil” for a baby girl? No middle name, as Brazil in itself is kinda “out there” and uncommon, I think a middle name would be overkill. I hated it when my boyfriend mentioned it originally, but it’s actually grown on me. I know a ton of London’s, Asia’s, Ireland’s, etc.

Well their presidents name is Trump...

Greer is a fabulous name.

Poor little girl. It's an awful name and you'd be selfish to call her this. She's the one that'll have to live with it.

Greer is fantastic but for the love of god don’t equate unusual/ outside the box with good / interesting/ creative. Some things stay outside the box for a bloody good reason and naming a baby girl Brazil / Brazil is one of them.
(Adelaide was a name before a place I’m pretty sure)

In that case Elisabeth might actually be the more unique name then....

On a serious note, I like Saffron, Grey and Roma .

On the same theme, how about Favela?

Or go even further south (than a Brazilian) and call your daughter Uruguay.

Going to be brutally honest whilst I wouldn't judge a child with that name I'd certainly judge the parent who gave them it

What about Azul for a similar sound? It means "blue" in Spanish and Portuguese.

Bolivia. Bolly for short. And if she hates it she can call herself Olivia.

I don’t like it, aside from that I also hate London, Ireland, and Asia as children’s names, Brazil just doesn’t have a great sound to me.

Today I met a little boy named Jersey and all I could think of was the cows.

Awful.
