What would you DC be called?

My partner had her heart set on Scarlett for upcoming DD but I couldn’t be swayed no matter how hard I tried to like the name.

For a boy - Leo. I used to be a nanny for a boy called Leo who is by far the most, difficult? child I’ve ever come across in 31 years of living so I just couldn’t shake it 😅

If DH had chosen we'd have Padme and Samuel.

They did. And I'm still not sold on ds' name nearly 5 years on... if I'd got my way, it would have been Matthew or Gideon.

Emma and Jack.

We did get Emma, but our boy is not called Jack. Not to my taste at all.

Nameless. He had no opinions or suggestions at all, much like everyday life

Spike. I can't remember what he suggested for ds2.

Winston or Nelson for DS and Genghis (?) for DD - before we knew she was a girl.

Jack or Sophia

Can't remember for boy. For our dd, he rang parents and announced her name before we had finished discussing it. (He chose the one I didn't want). Could be worse though, his frontrunner for 6 months (in the 2000s) was Stacey.

Gary or Steve. FFS this was not in the 80s

I was lucky, mine didn't have any suggestions of his own and just agreed with everything I suggested, so I was going to win either way

DS’s dad wanted to call him Jedi or Summer if he was a girl. I’ll let you guess what the surname was..

DD’s dad liked Mordred and Morgana

My DH spent many happy hours browsing the baby names book. Snow Daisy was one he found, and Schmoopy. Mind you DS, who was 3 at the time, wanted to call the baby Sock.

I asked why Ezra? He said it's cute and I think he referenced either Star Wars or Star Trek I'm not sure.

Our son is named after him, when asked about a boy he said Luke. I thought ooo lovely, then again Star Wars popped up

He got his choice on DD1, Chloe

He keeps saying Rudi

Robyn or viola for dd3

For dd Violet or Suzanna. Both were vetoed.
For ds he wanted Arthur. He was again vetoed.

Charlie and Charlotte. As siblings.

He also suggested Dawn when I put my foot down about Charlotte. And Yve - yes spelled with a Y.

Edith. In the end we didn’t call either of our daughters Edith. They both have older fashioned names, but I just felt that Edith was TOO old lady.
