What is everyones top 5 for each sex? Not pregnant yet but trying, and we think we have first names picked out for girl and boy but sometimes dot around our top 5. Also open to finding new names to sway me! I'll start:

Boys: Sullivan, Elliot, Archer, Harvey and Hayes

Girls: Lyla/Lylah, Amélie, Nora, Eliot and Joie

@Dramaalpaca share! I like to read these and see if anything comes up that I like! I have only done girls names, so won’t contribute personally but interested in others :-)

Strokethefurrywall · 06/05/2020 02:59

I have a 6 year old Sullivan so obviously that's my pick.
I don't know if any others except my 3rd cousin has a 2 year old son named Sullivan.

Eliot, Brandon, Lachlan, Vaughn and Griffin were all on my lists for both DSs. I would use Griffin if I were to have DS3.
I also have a Carter (DS1) so I guess we have similar tastes!

Girls were Leah, Alannah, Sloane, Dylan, Valentina (Leni)

Strokethefurrywall · 06/05/2020 03:00

Oh and Saorsie - love that name.

octoberfarm · 06/05/2020 03:15

@DramaAlpaca still join in!!! I love hearing everyones different tastes in names, there is no right or wrong, you can love whatever you want! I feel like the name Nora totally doesn't fit into the 'theme' of my other names but for some reason I still love it!

@stuckathomewithatonofkidshelp thanks!

I love Greyson, and Alina is my cousins name and she is beautiful, it suits her so much so i'm pretty biased with that one! Lovely names!

@Strokethefurrywall ooh I love that you have a Sullivan, i've literally never met anyone else with that name/with kids with that name so it's good to know that whilst it's not common, it's still getting some love! This is the one we are pretty set on so hopefully some day soon there will be another Sullivan out there!

Also love Dylan for a girl! This used to be on my list but OH said no Envy

@Seagull94 Jude and Ada are lovely! A girl I know recently had an Ada and it was the first time i'd really heard it, its a lovely simple but classic name!

Casper/Caspar
Sebastian
Lucas
Finn
Moritz (couldn't use this in the UK but love it)

Romy (I love both pronunciations but marginally prefer Ro-me to Rom-e)
Orla
Lilah
Rosa
Isobel/Isabelle (although dislike Izzy, Bella and Isabella and wouldn't use it as it's too popular for my taste but it's so pretty)
