Savannah.
Husband is totally set. It isn’t a name I have ever really come across and is very different to anything I’d normally pick.
I am so on the fence as to wether I love or hate?
paintfairy · 11/02/2020 21:24
Oh I like that. I have heard it before but I doubt it's common. I guess it just depends if you want something more mainstream or not?
MrsXx4 · 11/02/2020 21:26
I should have mentioned that we already have a boy called Noah.
bakingcupcakes · 11/02/2020 21:26
I like it. It's the name of a character in one of my favourite series of books so I may be slightly biased towards it!
SaintFlamingo · 11/02/2020 21:28
When I lived in Winchester, it was the name of a shitty club
Bit tacky
therewerefour · 11/02/2020 21:30
In all honesty I dont like the name. I know someone who's daughter is called Savannah and I just cant like the name
Hepsibar · 11/02/2020 21:30
I really like it.
ironicname · 11/02/2020 21:31
It makes me think of an exotic dancer.
missmouse101 · 11/02/2020 21:34
I agree with it sounding a bit tacky. Like Chardonnay!
ilovepixie · 11/02/2020 21:34
Isn't one of Peter Philips daughter called that?
ElfishBiatch · 11/02/2020 21:39
I don’t like it.
Kanga83 · 11/02/2020 21:44
I don't like it. It's in the Chardonnay, hyphenated names and Nevaeh camp for me.
DeanaWinchester · 11/02/2020 21:45
@bakingcupcakes otherworld?? Love the name
AfterSchoolWorry · 11/02/2020 21:46
Dated.
RickOShay · 11/02/2020 21:47
I like it. I think her sister is Autumn which I also like.
clpsmum · 11/02/2020 21:47
Love it and think it sounds lovely with Noah. Both gorgeous names
Ihaveamind · 11/02/2020 21:47
It makes me think of the American South. Think it goes well with Noah.
tomatosoup4 · 11/02/2020 21:47
I love it, it was 2nd on my list for Dd we chose Scarlett in the end.
Shockers · 11/02/2020 21:48
I don’t know why, but whenever I hear the name, I see it as beige. I see some names as rich colours and some as bland- Savannah is a bland colour, and that puts me off it.
Odd, I know.
2stepsonthewater · 11/02/2020 21:48
A savanna or savannah is a mixed woodland-grassland ecosystem
Did your DH not do geography at school?
Go for Susannah instead?
bakingcupcakes · 11/02/2020 21:49
@DeanaWinchester Yep Otherworld. I have them all and have re-read them lots!
Likethebattle · 11/02/2020 21:49
I know someone with a daughter called Savannah. It’s nice.
daisypond · 11/02/2020 21:49
I like it. I know a couple in their early 20s.
HeronLanyon · 11/02/2020 21:51
I think -
Georgia. Always love it as city name.
Africa. Wildlife.
Name - feels a bit 90s (?) to me. Not fond of it at all but who cares. If you love it use it.
Congrats bye.
HeronLanyon · 11/02/2020 21:53
Btw.
nicslackey · 11/02/2020 21:56
