Maeve, Margot or Greta?

Fussy husband and I have finally agreed on a shortlist of three names that we BOTH really like - it's a miracle!

Maeve
Margot
Greta

I'm very excited about these three, and expect I'll keep changing my mind on my favourite right up until the birth. I don't think I really mind which we go with. Curious as to which one everyone else on here prefers...

Maeve or Margot for me. Tho I'd spell them Meadhbh (Irish) or Margaux (French).

Only one I can pronounce is Greta! Not my cup of tea names, however if u love them that's all that matters!

Sorry but whenever I see Margot I read it as Maggot Confused

Maeve is quite pretty. Greta Thunberg is irritating but probably won’t be heard of in a few years time

Maeve makes me think of malevolent.

Margot all day long - it’s very elegant. Greta seems a bit too German “ milk made” for me.

Margot and Greta are both short forms of Margaret. You could put Margaret on BC and see what suits her.
Not sure about Maeve.

MaryBoBary · 31/12/2019 12:44

Not much of a fan of any but I LOVE Maeva.
