I've started liking this name for a girl.

This was my first thought too . I remember the advert where they had a weird revel eating competition... Everyone either loves or hates the coffee and orange. I love coffee but hate orange and my best friend is the other way around so we used to hold our own competition at lunch time .

I'm open to more 'interesting' names but Revel for me would definitely be a boy's name.

I don't normally like out there (made up?) names but I quite like it. However I think the reaction re the sweets would be a major issue as evidenced here.

If you are going to use the name it is traditionally spelled with 2 L's.
