Use it. It's sweet.

notacooldad · 22/10/2019 14:47

To be honest I did think " right. Ok........" when I was told of my colleague's kids name but it very quickly grew on me and it's really nice. It suits her in a good way and the child is in high school now. She is lovely ( I know her name hasnt got anything to do with her personality) There hasn't been any mockery from kids. To be fair I think kids are more accepting of names, its adults that are sneary.
There are worse names out there and if you like it why not?
I would consider it if I was having a child.

Curse you, OP. I want some Revels now. Grin They were fantastic. (Do they still exist? I'm not in the UK).

If you want a name associated with the meaning of joy and celebration, how about Felicity, Natalia (birthday/Christmas), Laetitia, or just simply Joy?

CatteStreet · 22/10/2019 16:05

Kit and Kat would be genius for boy/girl twins, though (Christopher and Catherine) Grin

OtherMoons · 22/10/2019 16:06

RoseyOldCrow · 22/10/2019 16:22

pollywobble · 23/10/2019 00:35

Whenever I see Craig Revel Horwood ,I mentally put Revel in quotation marks...because it's nota name, is it?

CendrillonSings · 23/10/2019 00:42

AutumnalLeaves38 · 23/10/2019 02:16

Peanut allergy roulette.

Better hyphenated, no?

Littledidsheknow · 23/10/2019 07:57

I’d go for Lindor, much classier.

Littledidsheknow · 23/10/2019 08:40

And it’s even worse than Pepper!

Give your child an actual name, FGS!

MikeUniformMike · 23/10/2019 08:59

Would Godiva or Prestat be a bit more classy?

Whiskerychinsrock · 23/10/2019 09:03

Nice name for a chocolate lab Grin
