If you want your daughter to be a laughing stock all her life, go right ahead.
spice3 · 18/10/2019 09:22
I actually really like this!!!
user1480880826 · 18/10/2019 09:22
What’s it short for?
DailyFailAreTwats · 18/10/2019 09:23
Theodora on the BC and Teddy as a nn, fine. But give her the choice.
MissHenty · 18/10/2019 11:33
I think it’s nice and can’t see why she’d be a laughing stock
Unfortunately girls with boys names are seen as ‘cool’.
Boys with girls names is practically illegal.
What does that tell us about societies view of women 😥
Anyway that’s a topic for another day but Teddy is nice for a girl
Lavenderblues · 18/10/2019 11:34
Teddy is cute for a girl! But I'd give her Theodora as full name.
Lavenderblues · 18/10/2019 11:35
Robbie Williams's daughter is called Teddy.
It's cute but works better for a girl than boy imo.
Aquilla · 18/10/2019 11:35
Cute nickname but yes, she deserves a proper name.
Raphael34 · 18/10/2019 11:35
I think its daft, but then I don’t like it for a boy either. Will it be short for something so she can have a choice?
Lavenderblues · 18/10/2019 11:36
Laughing stock
Much worse for a boy imo.
Mrsjayy · 18/10/2019 11:36
I can't see her being a laughing stock I think it is fine Robbie williams dd is Teddie
Sleepyquest · 18/10/2019 11:37
I keep suggesting this to my husband. It's short for Theodora and I think it's cute
Twelve8Ts · 18/10/2019 12:31
Love it, always have. I think Teddie is nicer.
There are many weird and wonderful names out there, Teddy isn’t one of them. ‘Laughing stock’ is a very dramatic reaction.
mulky · 18/10/2019 12:32
It's much better for a girl than a boy in my opinion. It just doesn't age well, a grownup called Teddy sounds daft.
Lavenderblues · 18/10/2019 12:47
Definitely too cute for a grown man 🧸 Teddy?!
But cute for a little girl. Love Theodora!
OkayGo · 18/10/2019 13:03
I like it
midsomermurderess · 18/10/2019 13:04
What about a name that she can use as an adult? Why must girls manes be cutsie, frilly, infantile?
Aprillygirl · 18/10/2019 13:06
Love it for a baby/little girl. not so much for a teenager/grown woman. Do not name her Theodora though, that's fucking awful!
Chirpychirpy3 · 18/10/2019 13:11
Theodora is lovely. Then has the options of Thea, Teddy or Dora.
Sux2buthen · 18/10/2019 13:14
I really wanted it for my daughter but I'm a take that fan and I know everyone would've thought I'd used it because of Robbie so I didn't. But anyway, it's really nice I like it
HermioneWeasley · 18/10/2019 13:15
No, far too cutesy.
WhatALearningCurve · 18/10/2019 13:21
There is a character in Greys Anatomy called Teddy - it's short for Theodora which is a completely acceptable name and I love the nn.
Lavenderblues · 18/10/2019 13:41
Theodora is beautiful! Teddy is a lovely nickname for when she's little
Bourbonbiccy · 18/10/2019 13:54
I agree Theodora on both certificate and then you can use Teddy as a nickname.
She can choose when she's older.
Crazyladee · 18/10/2019 14:05
Love it. Make her official name Theodora though.
