title inspired by my horrendous step MILF. she begged to know what names I’m considering so gave in and got told that my taste was getting ‘chavvier by the day.’ Cheers!
A click-baity title is needed as I am actually due in 5 days, Christ. And people on mumsnet are very attracted to the word ‘chav’ or variants aren’t they.

Everly - surname, no
Wren - not my taste, but at a push it's sort of passable

Skye - again, not my taste, but it's possibly the best name on the list
Savannah - I just think of the cat breed
Harlow - just no

I love Harlow. But not too crazy but not common.
If your now thinking of ridiculously chavvy names to give MIL there's someone local to me with kids named Jack Daniels and Tia Maria Grin don't think it gets much chavier than that!

Savannah is pretty, but if you're going to shorten it to Anna, then just name her Anna.

Definitely think you need to tell your milf mil that dh and you both love her suggestion of Chavia and have decided to use it in her honour. And enjoy her horrified-ness for a good couple of weeks Grin At least it will keep her off your back while you make up your minds for real...

Chavia is lovely but prefer it spelled Chavvyahh (with a soft "ch" as in champagne and chandelier), and ideally hyphenated with something like Grace or Destinee.

In all seriousness:
Harper and Harlow do come across as a bit footballer's wife, sorry. Wren, Skye, Everly are OK though not really my style. Savannah is a nice name and I don't think it's tacky at all. Actually, isn't one of the queen's grandchildren called Savannah?

With the exception of Chavia Harlow and Harper, your list isn't chavvy at all.

Harper - people will assume that you're Beckham fans (Hope you're not called Victoria in real life because that would double the comments)

Thank goodness you took Harlow off the list.

Love Willow and Skye. Savannah is OK. Everly is not my taste at all- like Avery though.
