I have taught a Prince before. His parents were Black African, I’m not sure which country exactly.

I would think he was of African origins. Not sure exactly which African countries but some have the custom of English virtues/ titles for names, like Princess, Mercy, Wisdom, Ernest, Beauty etc

I’ve worked with several Princes and a Princess. All of black African heritage. Also a Godson and a King. I like it.

A dog or parents trying to be unique

I would think of Prince. I love the name and wanted to use it as a middle name for DS but DP did not feel the same way.

I like it but I don’t know if I could use it. I always imagine myself with my pram on the school run, saying the name out loud to other parents. That usually tells me how confident I am in a name choice
