hi everyone I made a thread yesterday on short and sweet girl names.
We loved the suggestion of Elsie, so out finalist is now Elsie Belle. What does everyone think of that?
the only thing is I strongly dislike the name Elsa for some reason and I don’t want it to be mistaken for that or it to be too similar? Help me please ladies!! x

It's a bit twee, I feel a name like that isn't setting a girl up to use her brain, it's sentencing her to a stereotype.

Sorry caught up prefer Maggie, I can see a Dr Maggie, lawyer Maggie etc.

Agree with PP. Elsie alone is lovely. Adding Belle makes it too cutesy. Almost a bit chavvy IMO.
