Wanted, a great name for a boy

This is driving me to distraction.
Induction booked for Monday, and we can’t agree on a name for our boy. We already have Ivy and Fred who are very excited about meeting their baby brother and want to call him George Leopard Leo Grin

DP wants Jack, children love George and I like Maxim or Albert. Any suggestions?

Middle names likely to be Joseph Graham.

KingPrawnBalls · 21/11/2018 19:34

Bertie
Max
Alex
George
Morgan
Jude

JollyGiraffe · 21/11/2018 19:35

Thread title made me think you thought 'Wanted' was a great name for a boy Grin

JollyGiraffe · 21/11/2018 19:36

Rupert Joseph Graham

joinedjustfordw · 21/11/2018 19:37

Sorry if this is an obvious fact but I hope it brings you some peace to know that the latest your baby can be named is 6 weeks after he is born, so at least you have time to think and discuss!
Other than that I don't really have a name suggestion, sorry. Congratulations, though! Star Flowers Star

Aldrin.

userabcname · 21/11/2018 19:39

George is a fab name! Go with that!

lozengeoflove · 21/11/2018 19:41

Thanks everyone. Wanted as a name Grin
joined we haven’t been able to agree in nine months. Six more weeks is nothing Grin.

Love Rupert. DP won’t have it. Apparently it’s a “wanky East London name”.

Wtf is a great South London name then, that we can both agree on?? Hmm

I think George Joseph Graham sounds lovely and a strong boys name

lozengeoflove · 21/11/2018 19:45

I think I agree c0wgirl.

Love George, or Joseph as a first name is my favourite! A million different nicknames but still good and strong in it's full form.

Shadow1234 · 21/11/2018 19:55

Really like George and it goes well with your other childrens names.

(I also think Ronnie would go well).
I know so many Jacks, it just puts me off the name.

lozengeoflove · 21/11/2018 20:03

shadow I love Ronnie, but cannot use it as his name would then be the same as the famous saxophonist’s Grin

Reggie (Reginald) or Teddie (Edward)

lozengeoflove · 21/11/2018 20:15

Love Edward, but DP won’t agree. Says it’s too close to Fred/Freddie. Ted/Teddy/Ed/Eddie/Ned etc.

I actually like Joseph Graham surname best.

lozengeoflove · 21/11/2018 20:49

Can’t use Joseph as a first name unfortunately Sad

OP posts:
JollyGiraffe · 21/11/2018 20:55

If no to Rupert, then I agree with his brother and sister and vote George Joseph Graham!

Or.....
Arthur Joseph Graham?
Patrick Joseph Graham?
Thomas Joseph Graham?
William Joseph Graham?

Kintan · 21/11/2018 20:56

I like your children’s idea of Leopold, it’s quite quirky but not too out there. George is a bit boring. And weren’t the Weasley twins in Harry Potter called Fred and George?

Kintan · 21/11/2018 20:58

Ah just saw it’s Leopard not Leopold your children were suggesting! How about something like Casper or Rufus?

lozengeoflove · 21/11/2018 21:11

You are all suggesting lovely names, yet DP doesn’t like any.
Very frustrating. He claims he should name this DC as I named the other two. Kind of goes with the territory of carrying and pushing the little brutes out, I thought Grin

Shadow1234 · 21/11/2018 21:29

Has your Dp suggested anything other than Jack, out of interest?

I do think you both have to like the name, and if you do not like Jack, then its not fair on you. I know you said you chose the other two names, but he must have liked them anyway (otherwise he would have vetoed them like he is doing now with these names).
I think it has been proven on this thread that your childrens choice is more popular than his 😁
