If you want to blend in then pick something common e.g. Smith, Miller etc

If you want something that links to your past then use a maiden name from your mum/grandmother etc. Or a link to a culture e.g Goldman, McKenzie, O'Reilly.

If you want something fabulous then go wild. I knew someone who's surname was Gauntlett, I thought that was a good one

Funny someone has said McKenzie, i’ve always said that’s the name i’d choose.

My friends surname is Philips I always thought that's sounds nice for some reason.
