I want a fresh start and a new "identity"

Any suggestions?

Thanks X

I would like a name with a positive association.. Something that makes me happy when I hear it and see it on paper. I'm swaying towards more pretty names looking at the suggestions.

Maybe I'll go with something associated with an early childhood memory when life was simple.. Playing with fallen pink blossom in the school playground without a care in the world..
Ill def come back when I have decided and let you all know.
Thank you everyone who has replied.

Xx

Personally I would take a name from a literary chracter or historial figure that inspires you, or perhaps a place name.

Also Googleability might be something to consider. If you choose something very unique it could be a lot easier to find you online.

Amy Blossom - in relation to your happy memory.

Amy Bananahammock - because I just had to.

Polkasq · 07/11/2018 13:26

Amy Googleability has a certain ring to it

Amy Blossom is great. Or Amy Cherry as presumably that's what the blossom was?

WaxOnFeckOff · 07/11/2018 23:14

How about the Italian name Petale which means Petal - just like the blossom you remember.

Cosmoa · 07/11/2018 23:23

Amy Googleability has to be the winner 😂

SavageBeauty73 · 07/11/2018 23:34

@MsJuniper A school friend of me is a Wild kid from the Islington commune!

I would pick Love or Hope.

MrsFoxPlus4 · 08/11/2018 03:55

My favourite surnames are Lovelace, Lawless & Melrose. Absolutely no idea why lol

Whiskeyjar · 08/11/2018 05:11

Another vote for Amy Blossom

GraceMarks · 08/11/2018 08:29

The Japanese word for cherry blossom is sakura. Amy Sakura has a ring to it!

Love this thread and can't wait to hear what you go for!

My favourite of the suggestions so far is Amy Valentine. Sounds great!

JanetLovesJason · 09/11/2018 12:38

I did that. Didn’t like having dad’s surname (long story). Thought just taking my mum’s was a bit strong. Settled on my mum’s middle name as my surname instead.

JanetLovesJason · 09/11/2018 12:38

Best thing I ever did by the way.

Butteredghost · 09/11/2018 20:59

The author Cheryl Strayed changed her surname to that, after she "strayed" from her normal life and went on the adventure she wrote about in her book Wild.

She doesn't mention that in the book but says it on her podcast.

So how about something like that. I vote for Wild as pp suggested.
