HV here and have a young DS. Loads.

Hopefulsinglemama · 26/10/2018 20:05

I know one, they mostly stick to her name, can't remember her nickname but I know it's not Evie.

CarryOnScreamingValenta · 26/10/2018 20:06

Grand total of none.

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 26/10/2018 20:06

Umpteen here in SW London

BroomOnTheRoom · 26/10/2018 20:07

Lots. Home Counties.

WoogleCone · 26/10/2018 20:08

Not many here but it is my DD!
Family call her Evie, we call her Evelyn. When she's older I quite like Vie as a nickname or there's a nice shortened version of her middle name.
But tbh her nickname will be whatever she prefers!

WoogleCone · 26/10/2018 20:08

I should add Yorkshire!

Pops1985 · 26/10/2018 20:12

I know 5 and they are all under 3 years old

Skylucy · 26/10/2018 20:14

3 little ones, 2 very big ones! Hertfordshire.

Changedmynametoolikeyou · 26/10/2018 20:15

I know two adults. They are known as Ev and Eve.

WhiteVixen · 26/10/2018 20:16

Just one here (east midlands). She’s my daughter’s friend, they’re in year 2. So 6/7 years old. Don’t think she has a nickname, she’s always Evelyn.

catlovingdoctor · 26/10/2018 20:16

The one from Pearl Harbour

lovely2008mum · 26/10/2018 20:18

Off the top of my head around 20
This generations sarah / Becky / chloe or Megan etc
Don't go there it's ubiquitous

3out · 26/10/2018 20:18

5, all over 50, all only go by full name.

I suppose Eve would be a shortened version, maybe Eva at a push?

Goostacean · 26/10/2018 20:24

One, back when I lived in Cambridgeshire. She’s about...33 now? And we called her Ev.

Watto1 · 26/10/2018 20:26

Just one. She's 98!

ThunderInMyHeart · 26/10/2018 20:32

One - she’s mid 30s. Love the name

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 26/10/2018 20:38

I have one who is 6. I know only one other who is about 2. My dd is the only Evelyn in her school. People shorten it to Evie sometimes but I don’t mind that.
I obviously think it’s a gorgeous name, we get lots of comments from people about what a lovely name it is too.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 26/10/2018 20:39

I’m in London btw

user1486076969 · 26/10/2018 20:39

None, ever...

UbercornsGoggles · 26/10/2018 20:41

Two under 5 (and I don't know many kids). Both shortened to Evie.

Escolar · 26/10/2018 20:44

I know one Evelyn (unshortened), two Evies (presume short for Evelyn), two Eves and two Avas.

Escolar · 26/10/2018 20:44

All primary age btw.

QueenCuntyFlippers · 26/10/2018 20:45

1 and she gets her full
Name. She’s lovely

Buildalegohouse · 26/10/2018 20:48

One 3 YO. It's lovely but it does get shortened to Ev-ie. (rather than Eve-ie).
