Flower name!

Hi,
I'm looking for a flower name. My mum was called Fleur, I'm jasmine and my daughter is Primrose so would like to keep the flowers going! I like names that are a bit unusual, I'd love to hear some suggestions?!

I quite like Peony, but I don't know if that's too out there, and Pansy or Dahlia too.

Thank you in advance!

I have a Posy, middle name Violet. I love it.

CoconutQueen · 16/10/2018 14:15

Peony is AWFUL for the simple reason that every time you refer to something that belongs to her, it sounds like you are saying "penis".

Ie: Peony's head/Penis head.

RPC28 · 16/10/2018 14:32

Dalia?

RPC28 · 16/10/2018 14:32

Not a flower but I know someone with then name Tulin? Similar to tulip?

almondsareforevermore · 16/10/2018 19:42

Marigold, Snowdrop, Violet.
Not Daisy, Poppy, Iris as they’re very common.

Peach2018 · 16/10/2018 19:59

I do love marigold but it reminds me of the gloves. Violet is becoming quite popular in our area but I do love it it's very pretty!

Primrose and Viola

EvieV28 · 16/10/2018 20:23

It's an obvious one but I absolutely love Daisy.

Peach2018 · 16/10/2018 20:27

I already have a daughter called Primrose, Viola is very pretty though! What are people's views on Pansy?

daisypond · 16/10/2018 20:31

Viola is nice. Pansy - no.

MrsCar · 16/10/2018 20:31

That's what I meant, I put them together (sisters)

I'm not keen on pansy.
