Flower name!

Hi,
I'm looking for a flower name. My mum was called Fleur, I'm jasmine and my daughter is Primrose so would like to keep the flowers going! I like names that are a bit unusual, I'd love to hear some suggestions?!

I quite like Peony, but I don't know if that's too out there, and Pansy or Dahlia too.

Thank you in advance!

Marigold

MissSmith80 · 15/10/2018 21:30

My Nan and her sisters were Daisy, Rose, Violet, Lily and Iris. All fairly 'normal' names now but I think it's so lovely that they were all named after flowers. Your post has just made me reminisce although they all passed away many years ago 💐

Camillia.

I fancied peony for dd1 but DH said it sounded like penis... went for Iris instead.

Friends have a dd called Honesty. I think it’s lovely

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 16/10/2018 00:09

Fuchsia is gorgeous!!

3ChangingForNow · 16/10/2018 02:55

I met a lovely little Fuchsia. Difficult to spell though!

RedDwarves · 16/10/2018 08:54

Columbine? Perhaps look up flower fairies for inspiration?

For the love of god, do not name your child Columbine.

I like Aster for a flower name that is a bit less expected. Dahlia and Daphne, too.

newrubylane · 16/10/2018 13:03

Marguerite (french for daisy) - Daisy works as a shortening too.
