I have a friend whose nickname is Bambi, nobody calls her by her real name, which imo is much nicer. I was a bit when she was introduced as Bambi, but each to their own. I've come across worse names, but please give your child the option of a sensible name.

Some names aren't associated favourably - and some are just stupid.
