How weird is this name? But I love it!

OK, I know it's 'unusual' to say the least but I absolutely love the name Jura for a girl. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and am trying to gather names. So far, I'm unisinpired but my dp and I love the name Jura (we love the island itself and the whisky ).

So what I'm asking is, if you met a baby Jura, would you think weird or nice?

Durex, juror or iuno.

Middle name, perhaps.

Re bullying, unless you live in the area then no child is really going to associate it with the Paps. We live in Scotland, I have two well educated and reasonably well traveled teen DSs who will never of heard of this at all. I quite like it but love Lorna or Vaila or Rhona.

I don't think it's an unusual name. Plenty of girls called Isla, Jura, Iona and Skye.

My first thoughts are Juror and dura (membrane covering the brain and spinal cord)
