Please help us choose a name! (Girl)

I'm fine saying that we've settled on a name because me being my indecisive self, keep coming up with more names!

I like all these names, as does my fiance, so please help me choose!

Cora
Hailey
River
Ivy
Clara
Hallie
Amelia
Kylie (nothing to do with Kardashians/Jen)
Elora (El-OR-ah)

My favourites now are River and Amelia, though I know Amelia seems to be quite popular at the moment. Not really an issue though. I would love feedback on some or all if these names. Whatever is easiest maybe rank them? Or just tell me your favourite(s). Thank you :)

Yeah I changed my mind on Kylie. Cara just reminds me of a bitchy (if you'll pardon the word) popular girl in my head. Somehow Cora and Clara don't though even though they're similar names lol :) (that is totally just me though, it's a nice name on it's own). Like Kara better.

Trying to rack my brain to see what falls out of the name bush. I do really like unisex names though. I just don't see River as a boys name even though it is unisex.

I hate Amelia, just sound whiny and ten a penny to my ears.

I like Hayley (spelled like that)

Cora - Eastenders
River - Think of Phoenix so would assume boy
Ivy - Too old lady
Clara - Ok
Hallie/Hailey - Hayley
Amelia - Awful
Kylie (nothing to do with Kardashians/Jen) - Just think of Minogue
Elora (El-OR-ah) - Not my cup of tea.

If you like Hayley, what about Rachel.

@BigglesBalloon So all of my names lol. I've actually never met any people with names from my list Weirdly. I've met about a billion Rachels/Rachaels though. Its a nice name though I guess, bit boring though (absolutely no offense intended).

Hallie and Hailey are different names also if that wasn't clear, like Halle Berry :)

I see what you mean about Hallie and Hailey, my fault, wasn't reading properly. I much prefer Hailey, but with the Hayley spelling. Hailey looks like a typo to me.

No offense taken at all. A friend of mine is called Rachel, and since we all had kids I've thought a few times that it's a really nice name. Funny you think boring yet you have Amelia on your list. That is this generations Kelly/Claire/Louise to me.

@BigglesBalloon well what I mean by boring is that I've just heard it so many times. It's so common here is all. It in itself is a nice name though. Conversely, I've never met one Amelia, even though from what I've heard it's a common name. Sane with Maria. I really like the name and I've met maybe one or two, but globally it's a really common name. It really depends where you live. I actually really like Clare.

Ivy wins for me. Its such a pretty but underused name. My baby girl is due next week and picking a name is sooooo hard lol

You will probably pick a name and change your mind 100 times lol. We were going to call our baby Layla but we said it that much we put ourselves off it. Now the only name we both like is Izzy. I like a few more but dp cant agree. Ideally id love to have 3 names we both like to choose from when she arrives but its so difficult lol
