Sophia :)

SashSashSash · 12/04/2018 09:33

DP is English, I am German/French. Extended family in the UK, France and Germany. We will be based in England but may move to France at some point in the future..

Sophia

Sophie!

PetraRabbit · 12/04/2018 09:47

Definitely Sophie. Both are nice names but Sophia has become very very trendy. I'd assume it will date. Sophie is also a very top 10 kind of name but I think in a more classic way. I suppose a bit like how James is more classic than Noah. Sophie also sounds a little French which is equally continental.

Speedy85 · 12/04/2018 09:47

I can't decide - both lovely!

RedDwarves · 12/04/2018 09:48

I used to prefer Sophia, but I think Sophie is more classic as Sophia has had such a moment of popularity over the last 10 years that I think it'll date more than Sophie.

SashSashSash · 12/04/2018 09:49

Ha! This is not going to help me is it? Grin Thanks

Sophie

Arapaima · 12/04/2018 09:50

Love both but prefer Sophie

BasilThirty · 12/04/2018 09:51

If you can't decide maybe go for something more original?

StealthNinjaMum · 12/04/2018 09:52

Can't give a definite answer without hearing the surname - although I tend to agree with others who say Sophie. I do like Sophia but there are about 5 Sophia's at dc's school and so I do think it will date.

WingMirrorSpider · 12/04/2018 09:52

Sophie for the same reasons Petrarabbit gave. Both are lovely but I think Sophie is more timeless.

RhinoBlue · 12/04/2018 09:54

Sophie.

TheDowagerCuntess · 12/04/2018 09:55

I think Sophia is the most popular name on the planet at the moment, so if that doesn't bother you...

MinnieMousse · 12/04/2018 09:56

Sophia

FizzyGreenWater · 12/04/2018 09:57

Sophie. Just lovely - and the two syllables make it a really different name. Sophia sounds just a bit frilly to me, less elegant somehow.

BookThiefBlue · 12/04/2018 09:57

Sophia

Although many say it's too popular I only know two, one is 25 and the other is 3.

littlemissalwaystired · 12/04/2018 10:00

Definitely SophieSmile

eggncress · 12/04/2018 10:01

Sophia as it’s an old classic and it’s pretty. So what if it ‘dates’?
Sophie is nice too.
It’s really down to which one you prefer really

TokyoSushi · 12/04/2018 10:03

I have a Sophie, I love it!

user1498549192 · 12/04/2018 10:06

Sophie; lovely and timeless.

Sophronia · 12/04/2018 10:19
