I went to an all -girls private school with 2 forms per year. Multiple names in my year were

Alison (3 in my class, 5 in the year)
Catherine ( 3 in my class, 5 in the year)
Helen (2 in my class, 4 in the year)
Emma (2 in my class, not sure how many altogether)
Mary (2 in my class, 3 in total)
Jane (can't remember how many but quite a few)
Isobel (2 in the other class)

There was one girl in the year called Sophie and we all thought that was an incredibly posh name. Grin

I was thinking about this the other day.

These are the multiple names that I remember in my average size primary school across 2 forms in the final year of primary school. My own name is among them

4 Sarah's, 2 Sharons, 2 Nicolas, 2 Zoes, 2 Andreas, 2 Louises, 2 Susans

Other names I remember Victoria, Cheryl, Clare, Jennifer, Michelle, Kerry, Kelly,Melanie, Miranda, Gina, Suzanne, Helen, Tammy

Boys
4 Stevens, 2 Davids, 2 Garys, 2 Kevins

There were also, Alex, Ian, Craig, Neil, Daniel, Peter, Andrew and Clive.

1988 Northwest UK. Struggled to remember the boys but I think I got all the girls.

Laska5772 · 11/04/2018 19:55

Much better four ...I did ! but i much prefer 'cute girl!' (which is what i was told it was by a Czech friend .. ) .I am a bit of a old stick ( but sadly not stick thin! ).
Is it an insult in Polish? I hope not I've been Laska for so many years now..
