Just that really.

I’m having trouble choosing between these two names after a lot of discussion to get here.
I really liked Gabriel, but was vetoed.

Forgot to say prefer Jasper

I love Sébastien. I don't like Jasper as much but don't hate it.

Don't think these names or their nicknames are wet! In particular Seb/Sebastian. Pretty and punchy.

Find jasper pretentious though - used to be a posh name and is now bit hipster/ironic

Jasper. Lovely.
Also, there are lots of Sebs on our toddler circuit.

MikeUniformMike · 18/03/2018 19:37

I really don't like Sebastian.

Seb reminds me of sebaceous, oily, so don't like it at all. And Basty is too close to bastard imo.

Flamingoringo · 19/03/2018 09:55

The person who said that Jasper is slang for a wasp, where in the country is that from? Not heard that myself.

Jasper always immediately makes me think of Casper the friendly ghost. I don't know why but I can never get it out of my head. I prefer Sebastian out of the two.
