I think it's lovely.

sooperdooper · 01/05/2017 09:40

Very pretty and quite underused :)

Eastpoint · 01/05/2017 09:42

The Italian city has only one 'n', you can spell the name as either.

SuperBeagle · 01/05/2017 10:09

I love Sienna. Smile

Laniakea · 01/05/2017 14:38

it's my eldest's middle name - was supposed to be Siena but dh spelled it wrong when he registered her & we never got around to changing it! Obviously I like it :)

I thought it might become very popular with Sienna Miller but it doesn't seem to have done - there is one in my 16yo's year at school & I knew another who was in same year as my 10yo.

Sunshineandlaughter · 01/05/2017 14:49

Lovely but it's very popular in London

Rockaby · 01/05/2017 15:41

Lovely! There was a Sienna at my DD's nursery and I always thought it was a nice name.

Doobius · 01/05/2017 16:15

Its fairly popular where I am (London). Lovely name.

Bubblysqueak · 01/05/2017 16:16

Lovely and getting more and more popular.

khajiit13 · 01/05/2017 16:17

Quite popular where I am (the NE). It's a pretty name

FrenchMartiniTime · 01/05/2017 16:26

It might be a regional thing but in the area I'm from it's quite popular but seen as a bit (sorry to use the C word) chavy.

So I would use it if you like it. Unless on the off chance we live in the exact same area then maybe not Grin

Lepetitmarsellais · 01/05/2017 16:28

Chavtastic, sorry.

runs away

Sophronia · 01/05/2017 17:09

It's a bit trendy, along the same lines of names like Darcey, Scarlett, Lola, Mila, Aria.

DramaAlpaca · 01/05/2017 18:54

It's pretty.

Alisvolatpropiis · 01/05/2017 19:22

It will date very badly, having only come to attention of the general public and gaining massive popularity since Sienna Miller arrived in the public eye in the early 00's.

The Sharon of the new millennium.

That said, it is pretty.

I think it's pretty and I have happy memories of the city of Siena. Gorgeous place.

msgrinch · 01/05/2017 20:48

I agree with pp, very very chavvy. Where I am it's in line with Mia and Chelsea, Jaydon and Tyler etc

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 01/05/2017 20:49

The bonkers chick in Hollyoaks was called Sienna and the name reminds me of the laxative, Senna.

Heathcliffitsme · 01/05/2017 20:51

Not that keen. I know one aged 10 and yes its a bit Chelsea and Chanelle rather than Darcey or Scarlett.

OddBoots · 01/05/2017 20:51

It is a lovely name but there seem to be loads of baby girls being called Sienna at the moment, around here (Just north of London) anyway.

Sorry but I think it's chavvy

sniffle12 · 01/05/2017 20:55

I think it's lovely - I don't think it's chavvy (and I even knew a rather chavvy bully called Sienna!). I think it's quite classic - the city Siena and the colour Sienna aren't going anywhere - and a lovely name.
