Old man 'cockney' names?

TheTartOfAsgard · 14/02/2017 09:55

I already have a Stanley(12).

Looking for some old man type names that will suit ds2 (due beginning of June)

Want something that will carry him throughout all ages. Can't imagine him sitting in a pub when he's in his 60's and introducing himself as a 'riley' or 'blue'

Can't use Reg (one in family) or Bertie (I'm cockney and can't pronounce my 't's' properly.

So far have

Sidney
Lenny
Ron

Anyone think of any more?

Thank you Smile

My grandad and his brothers all born in Lewisham from 1940-55 can't get more authentic than that - Harold goes by Harry Grin

Bacon is a lovely name, I shall name my second born for it, my first is going to be Ballonz. I like it because it is unisex.

Oh just remembered!

There's always Darby, the original 'old man' name. As in Darby and Joan clubs. The original Darby was a Londoner.

Darby Bacon. Has a nice ring to it.
