Old man 'cockney' names?

TheTartOfAsgard · 14/02/2017 09:55

I already have a Stanley(12).

Looking for some old man type names that will suit ds2 (due beginning of June)

Want something that will carry him throughout all ages. Can't imagine him sitting in a pub when he's in his 60's and introducing himself as a 'riley' or 'blue'

Can't use Reg (one in family) or Bertie (I'm cockney and can't pronounce my 't's' properly.

So far have

Sidney
Lenny
Ron

Anyone think of any more?

Thank you Smile

I'd suggest Reggie too, or Frank.

KlingybunFistelvase · 14/02/2017 16:00

First thought was Albert.

Shockers · 14/02/2017 16:01

I'd probably steer clear of Bacon if your surname happens to be Rind, Butty or Negg.

ageingrunner · 14/02/2017 16:04

Seth is cool
I like Albie too
Fred?
Sid?

My nephew is Ronnie, wasn't keen at first but really suits him.

Thinking of our generations gone by, Arthur, Alfred, Edgar, Len, Harry, Albert, we actually had a male Kelly too. Also a Sidney, but my ban said Siderny! Lol

Stanley and Frank (Frankie for a toddler) or Stan and Ralph (Ralphie for a toddler!).

Paninotogo · 15/02/2017 05:38

We have Sidney, Ronnie, Davey, Sonny, George, and rather weirdly Alexander. (30s & 40s)
