Callum - Best
Reuben - posh, bit overused but it's still a favourite of mine

TheFillyjonk · 22/05/2015 16:29

Callum - Naughty boy
Reuben - "Highly sexed young men are always called Seth or Reuben" (quote from a novel called Cold Comfort Farm)

Love them both.

Callum, my best friend, nicest guy you'd ever meet, quite posh.

Ruben, his very cute 1 year old nephew.

Both lovely Smile

GlitzAndGigglesx · 22/05/2015 16:34

I like both. I have a relative called Callum who my grandad secretly calls calamity as he's a bit of trouble....butttttt it's still a nice name Smile. And both Ruben's I've met haven't been posh and it suited them well

DiDiddlyIDi · 22/05/2015 16:38

Callum Best
Reuben - Jewish

Gibble1 · 22/05/2015 16:39

All the Callums I know are quiet and shy. The one Reuben I know is good friends with Callum. He's a delight as he's got older (as in, on another planet, funny boy, no malice).

nuttybananas · 22/05/2015 16:40

Callum - nice name, possible Scottish heritage
Reuben - nice name in its own right - but hearing it a lot on young kids so its one of those 'trendy' names right now

SassyOlaf · 22/05/2015 16:47

Reuben - delicious sandwich

NickiFury · 22/05/2015 16:48

Callum: small-town Scotland, bit mousy and quiet
Reuben: arty, a bit show-offy (parents not the child)

TheoreticalOrder · 22/05/2015 16:55

Callum - naff
Reuben - sandwich

turdfairynomore · 22/05/2015 17:00

"Callum-mine" lotion

mawbroon · 22/05/2015 17:03

Callum = doesn't even register on my radar, it is a totally normal name here (Scotland)

Reuben = posh

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 22/05/2015 17:17

Horrible and over used.
Sorry

Roseotto · 22/05/2015 21:44

Reuben always makes me think of a pastrami sandwich I'm afraid. Callum is ok if you have that Gaelic connection.

NorbertDentressangle · 22/05/2015 21:51

Callum - cheeky, naughty, bit of a lad, gets into trouble
Reuben - a creative, imaginative boy. A bit of an individual, doesn't run with the crowd

Teachermummy27 · 22/05/2015 22:25

Very teacher related here but never taught a Reuben yet so better than Callum, as I've yet to meet one that wasn't horrid. Sorry!!
I don't know why, because it's a lovely name....

southeastastra · 22/05/2015 22:26

MumSnotBU · 22/05/2015 22:27
