Hi ya all Smile

My baby will be called Eleanor (family name Biggin) and I need a middle name that goes well with both of them. I like how Eleanor and Biggin sound well together and I am worried a lame middle name would ruin everything.I don't mind an old fashioned/ modern name as long as it sounds great with the rest. Any ideas?

Rose ?

Roseformeplease · 24/12/2014 16:37

My Eleanor is an Eleanor Rachel, which I love.

Missfrumpsalot · 24/12/2014 16:39

I have an amazing daughter called Eleanor Mary.
Eleanor is a wonderful name.

loislines · 24/12/2014 16:41

I think Mary works really well too. Amy? Lucy?

pao95 · 24/12/2014 16:44

It is indeed. I chose it without hesitation but this middle name thing is a hassle. :(

I know an Eleanor Rose

pao95 · 24/12/2014 16:49

Lucy is one of the possible middle names i had in mind.

I like names like Delaney, Amelia, Laurel or even Sophia but I am not too sure about using either of them. Hmm

Ooh a lovely name Eleanor!

Eleanor Jane Biggin

Eleanor Mary Biggin

Eleanor Fleur Biggin

Eleanor Betsy Biggin

NuggetofPurestGreen · 24/12/2014 17:01

I was going to suggest Mary too.

DayLillie · 24/12/2014 17:02

I have an Eleanor Ruth - not particularly modern, but I have always liked it.

NadiaWadia · 24/12/2014 18:26

It's a classic name. So maybe:

Eleanor Jane
Eleanor Mary (or could have Eleanor Miriam)
Eleanor Anne (this maybe doesn't flow right though, sounds like Eleanor ran?)
Eleanor Catherine/Katherine
Eleanor Margaret
Eleanor Charlotte
Eleanor Lucy

Also like Eleanor Ruth/Rachel/Rose as suggested above.

mysteryfairy · 24/12/2014 18:31

I love Eleanor Josephine. Have that!

RubySparks · 24/12/2014 18:34

Eleanor Jean - I love the name Jean!

Mulderandskully · 24/12/2014 18:40

Eleanor Frances

pao95 · 24/12/2014 18:45

So that's

Mary: 5
Jane: 2
Lucy: 2
Rose: 2

(and Ruth 2 but I am not keen on this name at all... Also won't consider "Grace" as I once knew one and she was a * :D)

What about more modern names? Any suggestion?

My daughter is Eleanor Amaris - I love her name. Amaris means "Given By GOd" in Hebrew/Hindi, and "daughter of the moon" in Spanish/ Old English.

pao95 · 24/12/2014 18:49

Amaris is interesting. Smile
