Hi ya all Smile

My baby will be called Eleanor (family name Biggin) and I need a middle name that goes well with both of them. I like how Eleanor and Biggin sound well together and I am worried a lame middle name would ruin everything.I don't mind an old fashioned/ modern name as long as it sounds great with the rest. Any ideas?

Feckit. I'm also seconding Eleanor Jean, fwiw.

If you really feel a strong attachment to those initials, then how about:
Eleanor Dorothy
Eleanor Diane
Eleanor Daphne
Eleanor Daisy
Eleanor Lauren
Eleanor Lois
Eleanor Laura
Eleanor Linnet

Oh I love Eleanor.

Eleanor Leveret? (My other favourite name).

EauLittleRougeofBethlehem · 25/12/2014 18:01

Isn't a leveret a baby hare?

I've got an Eleanor Elizabeth.

pao95 · 25/12/2014 19:06

Is it supposed to be spelled Leverett?
A leveret is a baby hare.

I know it's a baby hare. :) I like those sorts of nature names. Wren was on my list for DS.... DH had something o say about it though Hmm Grin

wizzler · 25/12/2014 21:05

Eleanor Joy?
Eleanor Kate ?

merlehaggard · 25/12/2014 21:09

I've got an Eleanor Anne. The Anne is after my husbands nan. My sister was very uncomfortable with 2 vowels together though!

florascotia · 26/12/2014 14:54

Eleanor Laetitia (=Joy) or
Eleanor Lettice (17th cent equivalent)

Eleanor Damaris
Eleanor Dorothy/Dorothea

can I (modestly) suggest Eleanor Flora?

I really like Eleanor Mary or Eleanor Marion, as well.

pao95 · 26/12/2014 15:30

@florascotia: Eleanor Flora sounds nice, :)

pao Thank you - and best wishes! Smile

I have an Eleanor Martha Rose.

Mrsgentle2014 · 26/12/2014 19:29

Eleanor Ivy? It has to be quite short I think, 1 or 2 syllables? :) x

Romeyroo · 26/12/2014 20:49

Okay, I still love Eleanor Jean, but for L Eleanor Louise or Eleanor Lucy as a PP suggested; or Eleanor Leigh would be my choice.

I am struggling for a D name, all I can think of is Eleanor Day, and I think Day is a surname really.

CarriMarie · 26/12/2014 20:49

Eleanor Alice.

mudpiesfortea · 26/12/2014 20:56

Eleanor May
Eleanor Marie

doormouse04 · 26/12/2014 21:17

Mine is an Eleanor Dorothy..

wadjet78 · 26/12/2014 21:23

Love Eleanor Dorothy or Alice so far.

Sonics · 27/12/2014 07:11

I haven't read the whole thread so sorry if this has been suggested, but we're having an Ellie Marie if we have a girl Smile. Think it works with Eleanor too
