Rose Elizabeth

I think I may be due roughly round the same time as Kate (are they saying mid-late April?). If she steals my baby name I'll be fuming.

Gullygirl · 11/09/2014 14:32

Charlotte Mary Frances
Richard Michael Charles

mathanxiety · 11/09/2014 19:32

Alice was the name of the D of E's mother too. She ended up in a Swiss sanatorium after being diagnosed with schizophrenia but recovered (so the diagnosis may or may not have been accurate) and for her activities in Athens during WW2 saving Jews from the Nazis she was honoured by Israel. She also got involved in some capacity with the Greek Orthodox church.

LynetteScavo · 11/09/2014 20:14

I thought she became a nun...

Alice
It will be a girl.

helensburgh · 11/09/2014 20:16

Arthur for a boy

Charlotte Elizabeth for a girl

mrstowers · 12/09/2014 13:06

Princess Rose
Prince Frederick (Freddie)

Fullstop0 · 14/09/2014 00:36

Mary

BabyX · 13/01/2015 21:13

First time around I thought Arthur or Alice. I'm sticking with those for baby no 2. K&W strike me as being very middle class at heart so they go with a nice safe well-known name which also has royal references.

Artandco · 13/01/2015 21:23

Leopold Arthur James

Or

Margot Leonora Diana

newrecruit · 13/01/2015 21:27

Please not Arthur. I was terrified the last time.

I have one and it will become really popular Confused

BOFster · 13/01/2015 21:30

I'm going for Matilda Caroline Diana and Frederick Arthur James.

BOFster · 13/01/2015 21:32

Or maybe Matilda Diana Rose. I don't think they'll put Caroline and Diana together.

BOFster · 13/01/2015 21:35

Ah, I see Blondie has beat me to Matilda and Frederick. We'll split the prize then, yes? You can have 75%, but if I get the middle names right then I will Grin.

Tsarina1 · 13/01/2015 21:39

I think it's a girl if reports are to be believed & I agree with the other posters that Matilda could be top contender. It's got the royal lineage, is a royal name used in alot of the royal households accross Europe & is solidly middle class without being OTT, I hope they use it Princess Matilda sounds lovely & so regal. Matilda & George sound like a lovely sibset.

Titsalinabumsquash · 13/01/2015 21:40

I'll place my money on Shoshanna - Ladasha for a girl and Quentin - Dave for a boy. Grin

Seriously though,

Victoria or Arthur

Skiingmaniac · 13/01/2015 21:48

I think it will be a girl called Grace (possibly with Elizabeth after) Smile

newrecruit · 13/01/2015 21:48

BOF no! I have a Frederick too ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

gallicgirl · 13/01/2015 21:52

My money's on Rex.

whistles

or more likely Alice or Louis.

BabyX · 13/01/2015 21:52

Won't be Grace - Princess Grace too reminiscent of Grace Kelly (that didn't end well) and Zara has Mia Grace doesn't she?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 13/01/2015 21:53

It won't be Henry - prince Harry is actually a Henry.

I'm going for Prince John William and Princess Mary Victoria

BatmanLovesBakedBeans · 13/01/2015 22:03

Joffrey Grin

Or Matilda for a girl

CaulkheadUpNorth · 13/01/2015 22:06

I'm assuming someone has already said Balonz, but if not I'm claiming it.

WhereHas1999DissappearedToo · 13/01/2015 22:12

Princess Victoria
Prince Louis

TheNewStatesman · 13/01/2015 22:57

It's a shame if they HAVE to use names that were previously royal. I mean, all royal names must have had a "first time" to be used, right? Victoria was not a traditional name in the UK until Queen Victoria. It would be nice to see a name that has a bit of a pedigree but is a first time for the royal family, like Rosalind or Antonia or something.
