we're stuck for a boy's name, ages to decide yet, we have a wyatt and a joseph.

middle name will be ronald. (family links)

we have beatrice sally for a girl (family links again)

i'm not sure on Otis. if not what 'b' names are there for boys, please not ben or any variation on it though. We did both like bertie, or Albie is that a sound name, not too pompus (hubs and I are the least pompus you'd meet)

sebsmummy1 · 11/08/2014 12:40

I thought aardvark too lol but that's showing our age. I think it's a lovely name.

oldiebutnctoday · 11/08/2014 12:40

How about barnaby, no idea where that came from, just popped into my head

Gileswithachainsaw · 11/08/2014 12:40

Aardvark.

Sorry

ButterflyOfFreedom · 11/08/2014 12:41

First thought for Otis was 'Redding'. Not necessarily a bad thing though am not overly keen on the name.

'B' names:
Brent
Barnaby
Barney
Bradley
Brody
Billy
Bobby
Brandon
Brendan
Barry
Brian
Boris
Brett

How about Bertram then you can still use Bertie? (Not keen on Albie).

SirChenjin · 11/08/2014 12:41

Bobby
Bryce
Blair
Brodie

AngelsWithSilverWings · 11/08/2014 12:43

Lifts and then after another second of thought Otis Reading.

Fcukfifa · 11/08/2014 12:43

Is the aardvark the thing off cbbc? That's what pops into my head, but there'll only be a certain age group that will think of it.

There's also redding, but he was a cool mofo so wouldn't worry about that either Grin

AngelsWithSilverWings · 11/08/2014 12:44

Redding! Oops!

cece · 11/08/2014 12:44

Next door's dog.

Bryan Ferry's son.

HauntedNoddyCar · 11/08/2014 12:45

Aardvark
Lifts
Redding
in that order.

WestEast · 11/08/2014 12:45

Aardvark.

Davidtennantmistress · 11/08/2014 12:46

who's Aardvark.

I did think redding as well, just a bit worried it's a bit of an ism either way to have it or not.

I quite liked brett but hubs isn't keen. it all stems (childishly) of him now realising he'll never have a 'bumblebee 'b' ' camerro car (not sure why the other three kids didn't make that realisation!) so he's requested a child with a b name so he can still say 'b' lol.

Redding. Cool name.

sallysparrow157 · 11/08/2014 12:47

Lifts. When I worked in Merthyr I heard tell of a baby Otis who was named thus because he was born in the lift on the way to delivery suite. It is quite a nice name to be fair but if I meet an Otis I always picture him being born in a lift

LuckySaint · 11/08/2014 12:48

Redding or aardvark

mrssmith79 · 11/08/2014 12:49

Marvin! The Vic and Bob characters. Am just in the process of introducing DSD (20) to the joys of Smell of Reeves and Mortimer.
Great name though.

TreadSoftlyOnMyDreams · 11/08/2014 12:50

Redding

Plus isn't one of Brian Ferry's kids called Otis? The one that got done for rioting in London. Criminal damage or something.
