How many boys called Max do you know?

Hello everyone - this is my first ever mumsnet post :)

We're expecting in September and my husband has always loved the name Max (Maximillian in full) if we have a boy. I really like the name but I've always wanted to avoid turning up to nursery/school and there being lots of other children with the same name. How many boys called Max do you know? (babies and up to 3 years-ish?!)

I've seen the popularity ranks online (Max was 18th in 2013) but I'm not sure how that actually translates to how many children of that name you tend to get in a classroom!

Our favourite girls name doesn't make the top 100 :)

Thanks very much.

I know 4 but they are all over 5.

I have a 6yo Max - his full name is Max, nothing more Wink

We used to know a v nice Maxwell who was an older man and dear friend, now sadly deceased.

I am not aware of other Maxes in any of my boys school years or nursery (aged 11-4)

I only actually know 2 Max's (both similar ages - around 4-5)

5 ranging from 20-1 yo. Although 3 of them are under 4.

One adult. One baby. None in either of my daughters classes at school and no younger siblings called max.

But don't go forlonger versions, max by itself is better. Nobody is going to use the longer version ever

One baby. Never met an older one or ever heard of anyone called Max all through schools.
He's just Max too, not a shortened of a longer name.

One is Maxim, one is Maxwell, one is Maximilian, one is Maximus and one is simply Max.

One baby one pre-schooler but I know lots of young children so proportionately not a huge number of Maxs (one is short for Maxwell, one's just max)
