Sister for Grace and Rupert

Hello

Have name changed for this.

My and DH can't think of a girls name we like, it feels impossible. The closest we have got is Phoebe but we aren't sure it's the one and DH hates the character in Friends which isn't helping.

We were absolutely certain on a Grace and no other name was discussed.

Boys names we liked were Oliver and Finn but we went with Rupert.

We prefer short names and like quite classical names. Our surname is one syllable and starts with the letter T.

I'm not keen on Olivia, Sophia, Emily, Daisy, Isla which have all been suggested (nothing wrong with them, just not for me). We just can't think of any name we like. I don't dislike Skye but DH says too hippy. He likes Holly but I'm really not keen, too seasonal and a friends DD is called Holly.

Please help!

Don't think Chloe is dated!

I haven't read the whole thread but what about
Jane
Tess
Avery
Verity

The classics like Rose, Emma, Emily sound nice with sibset but as I didn't read through these probably weren't suitable

My first thought was Hannah

I like Chloe.

I think Zara would go really well with those names, or Clara, Cara...

Also what about

Don't think Chloe is dated either. I would have used it for DD, but is the name of my sister's cat.

Lane or Lana
Rita
Vida
Nola
Lemonie
Nona or Nonnie (think these are short for Rhiannon?)
Bibi
Edie

Rupert and Grace are both lovely - don't worry too much about making the names 'go' - they won't often be named as a group after they leave home!

monkeymamma · 01/12/2013 22:15

Sorry just realised Edie has already been suggested!

I personally love Dot (and all versions of Dorothea/Dorothy...) but this may not be for you!

LondonNinja · 01/12/2013 22:19

Chloe was the first to mind.

Natasha
Sybil
Tess
