A sister for Honey

Hi, our 2nd baby girl is due in 3 weeks and am still pondering a short list of names. DH and I have a little girl named Honey who is almost 4 and needless to say the style of names we like are a little unusual. I'm looking for something which will fit in nicely with Honey, I guess you could say cutesy, although I do like unusual classic names as well. Current short list is as follows - grateful for the Mumsnet view! !

Bluebell
Blossom
Arabella
Perla
Angelica (angel as nickname?)
Peony (like this - DH doesn't!)
Lola

Suggestions and opinions please!

I adore Bluebell, we both do but have read quite a few views on the name on old mumsnet discussions and other websites and its usually shot down in flames....

Willow

Lola was on my list but then I got put off by eastenders and decided I liked Lila/Lyla instead (but oh said no)

Arabella is lovely but I dislike bella which it would likely be shortened too

Kyrptonite · 26/08/2013 09:32

Bluebell is lovely with Honey.

Love bluebell and blossom... DH would HATE these suggestions but he's boring hehe
Loved the Meadow suggestion... Willow?

What about Summer

TallulahBetty · 26/08/2013 09:39

Blossom from your list.

How about Holly?

MichaelBubleBath · 26/08/2013 09:43

Bluebell - not keen not because of geri halliwell,oh no
Blossom - yep but honey and blossom sounds bit contrived
Arabella - dislike though i adored mortimer the raven
Perla - quite nice but makes me think of jeans
Angelica (angel as nickname?) angel as nn gets my vote as then both kids have endearments but not a rugrat name - much prefer Evangeline (Angelina = ballerina or ms Jolie)
Peony (like this - DH doesn't!) me neither, prefer Poppy or Petal am not Jules Oliver
Lola - like

Halle?

Freshnclean · 26/08/2013 10:07
