Both lovely!

olivertheoctopus · 21/05/2013 21:00

Ooh, both v pretty. Sorry, that doesn't help at all. Maybe Ottilie has the edge for me.

Rtfairy · 21/05/2013 21:02

Definitely Elodie Alice. Lovely Smile

mum2jakie · 21/05/2013 21:04

Another vote for Elodie. Good luck! x

FranKatzenjammer · 21/05/2013 21:04

Elodie!

girliefriend · 21/05/2013 21:06

Elodie Smile

VBisme · 21/05/2013 21:06

Love elodie, but not elodie Alice. Not at all find of ottilie.

Suttyshotty · 21/05/2013 21:07

Why don't you wait and see what she looks like? My DS looked nothing at all like the name we had in mind and he ended up being called something which was not even on our list...because that's what he looked like. Good luck with your new love bundle, whatever she is calledGrin

EleanorFarjeon · 21/05/2013 21:09

I love them both and they were both on my list.

Elodie though, is becoming very, very popular. So for that reason, I'd go for Ottilie.

ChippingInLovesSpring · 21/05/2013 21:09

Elodie - for sure.

Ottilie - is too much little 'utterly' Grin

ukfirestorm · 21/05/2013 21:13

Partner just threw marcy in the mix!

Sorry but really really dislike both... Elodie sounds like you've missed the m off melody? Made up even? Plus likely to get Ellie? I've never heard of ottilie for which i think of otters sorry. I think you may seriously regret these in the future.

jamtoast12 · 21/05/2013 21:17

Marcy is nice spelt as Marcie :)

Sorry hope my first post not too negative.

ukfirestorm · 21/05/2013 21:21

No not too negative, don't worry, all opinions valid.

Elodie, definitely.

Ottilie sounds a bit like oddly.

sleepingbeautiful · 22/05/2013 03:52

Ottilie. Lovely.
The word Elodie sounds 'wrong' to me. Plus may well have her merge into the reams of Ellies.

Tortoiseonthehalfshell · 22/05/2013 04:00

Elodie lovely, but she will just be another Ellie/Ella. Ottilie I think is also very pretty, but I have the same reservations about her being "Otterly" in school.

Amandine is a pastry, isn't it? And not loving the alliteration, although I adore Alice as a middle name.

I think of your list, Elodie is the way to go, but it will be trendy.

cafecito · 22/05/2013 04:03

Elodie

AmandinePoulain · 22/05/2013 06:53

Elodie isn't 'made up' Hmm, it's existed since at least the 9th century!

scarecrow22 · 22/05/2013 07:11

Ottilie or Marcie. I have a hard to spell name and now hugely favour names that are spelt as they are pronounced - and for your soon-to-be DD's sake pronounced as they are spelt.
many congratulations and good luck

ukfirestorm · 22/05/2013 07:22

ottilie or ottiline though?

Dontbugmemalone · 22/05/2013 07:38

Don't like those names, sorry. Good luck for the birth though.

pascalia · 25/05/2013 02:00

Elodie

howcomes · 25/05/2013 02:07

Elodie is a beautiful sounding name.

moreyear · 25/05/2013 02:22

I love Elodie but prefer Ottilie with Alice.
