Help need a classic, not dull or not too popular girls name for DD2

That's it really.

Found out we are having a 2nd girl yesterday. Our 1st DD is Anna Isabelle, both classic not too popular and family related names.

However really struggling with DD2 name. Like Rose/Rosa and Sophia but too popular. (I had a popular name in the 70s and hated being known with my surname). DH has suggested Doris (which is NOT happening!!!).

Any ideas oh wise MNnetters????

Thanks

Yes, I was going to say Julia. Beautiful, simple, classical, timeless and not much used atm.

Alice spelt alais the French way Ilove it if I had another daughter that would be her name.

I like Kate (obviously getting more popular) but have always liked it.

Zara
Zoe
I know siblings called Anna and Alice
Grace

What about Elise? (El-eese) a beautiful name and I heard it used by a friend of my DD who must be about 12 now. You don't hear it very often but is lovely. Is very pretty contrast to Anna. They are so many girls names ending in "a" (I have two!) I think it's nice to have a contrast.

We have a niece called Julia who is three. Another wonderful classic name.

Elsa sounds like ulcer to me so I would opt for Elsie. I do think Alice and Mary are nicer though, as was Eliza.

Other names we considered alongside Anna & Rosa which were on our lists were:

Dorothea
Nina
Beatrice
Matilda
Iris

I'm quite annoyed with your DH. Grin Elsa/Elsie Alice just doesn't really work IMO and Eliza is lovely (as is Elspeth).

I have an Eliza Alice and love it (not helpful if your DH still off the name !!)

I love Flora and Imogen too, and quite like Georgia

Elsie and elsa are very popular near me and get grouped with all the other ell... Names.

I'd go for anna and Alice..much better than any others and two As is nice together
