I think the boy will be George, Albert or Arthur. Girl will be Alice, Alexandra, Victoria or Mary. As future monarch, it will have to be a traditional royal name I think.

Ok, the best thing to do is eliminate a few names first on the basis of others already having used them recently.

So we won't have:

William, Henry,

Alice, Summer and Savannah

YY to Diana, deffo, but probably not for a first name.

I would plump for Rihanna Gaga. Very current.

Elizabeth Diana

What they often do is use a first name that is suitable for king and then have them known as their second name.

Arthur could be in there. I hope not Albert though. Urrgh.

Victoria = boring.

I actually think Elizabeth Mary will be the favourite. Both are lovely and pretty fashionable right now.

My bet is on Elizabeth Diana as the middle names.

Elizabeth for a girl. Poss Victoria but Elizabeth would be better with our current queen. I think Elizabeth would be the reigning name.

Middle names - Diana and maybe some more unusual ones.

Boys - George? Depends on what Charles and William see themselves reigning as. Henry would be a interesting choice.

I don't think they will be "doing" regnal names anymore, surely? It just seems so anachronistic. I mean, Elizabeth thought it was a ridiculous idea 60 years ago that she might choose a name that wasn't her own.

Alice is Edward's daughter, and whoops, I meant Autumn and Savannah, not Summer and Savannah! (Peter Phillips's wife and daughter)

This is a future monarch, so it's going to be some boring traditional name. Victoria? George?
