Have just dug a list of possible names for my future DC I made when I was 15 or 16. It contains such gems as:

Girls:

Misty
Rio
Destiny
Lutricia
Kiri
Loralei
Tea (with a dash over the 'e' i.e. pronounced Taya)
Pinkie

Boys:

Nolan
Drey
Bu
Jenner
Duane
Clifford
Fox
Wilder

Feel free to point and laugh, and to share the mental names you once thought you might call your DC.

Phoenix, for a girl. I was genuinely upset when Scary Spice 'stole' my baby name.

Frederick
Joshua
Roisin

I wouldn't choose them now, but they're not too bad.

Jude for a boy, which my then best friend nicked a few years later. Linnet for a girl (from The Children of Green Knowe) which I still think is lovely but the constant "No, not Lynette" would be too irritating.

Cammay with emphasise on may at the end for a girl.

And I liked Lochie for a boy. Or when I was about 10 I think it would have been Jordan from NKOTB

Not in any way similar to my two now :)

Mercedes for a girl

Lots of boys names usually after famous people I fancied! ( so going to give my age away now)
Corey (haim)
Johnnie (depp)
Donnie or Jordan (nkotb)
Marky (wahlberg )

I HAVE 2 boys and 2 girls and none of those names.

Phaedra for a girl, and Artemis for a boy! I was a cringeingly pretentious teenager Blush

Richenda. I was bit of a Chalet School fan and I loved this name as soon as I read it. I used to use it for characters in my creative writing and primary school and many a teacher would identify themselves to me as fellow fans.

Hawaii, Arizona and Nevada!!

Also like Nicolette after Nicolette Sheridan. I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world.

Colin, I still love it, but it rhymes with dp's surname.
Hunter. I still quite like.

Both for boys.

Just seen this thread and it made me smile. Baring in mind that I was a bit of a hippie (weirdo), the names I liked were

Jemrad Sahara

California (Iin my defence this was before it was more mainstream to name children after places).

Paris (Sebastian Back influence there).

Gypsophila (initially spelt wrong and my spell check brought up a different word Shock.

Thank goodness I didn't get pregnant when I was 15. I would like to add that my children have very different names.

I was adamant I would call my son Cuthbert!

Really didn't use it!

I liked Maria and Scarlett. They're ok, but wouldn't choose them now. I also liked The Hulk, like in friends!!

Oh I had a plan and everything.

I was going to have a baby girl and call her Talia.

Then I would have triplets (ouch!) and call them Liberty, Brandon and Skye.

I had zero taste. Thank God I didn't get knocked up at 15!

I have a DS and a DD now and they have very different names!

Haha OP I love Fox Grin

Mine were pretty simple - Chloe and Matthew. Wouldn't use them now but equally if a dc had come along at 15 I wouldn't regret their names now

I had a baby when i was 15!

I wanted to call him Seamus

My now dh and my own dad convinced me that if I liked the irish form of James then that was what we should call him.

He (now 16) is glad I didn't call him Seamus Grin
