What do the parents of Arya do?

Pronounced Arr-yah. If you heard of someone calling their child this name, would you make any assumptions about what her parents were like/ what job they did?

There is a version of the name Ayra pronounced I-ra - I think both versions are a lovely name!

ar-re-a would be Aria. Arya is as the OP says it.

Honestly? I would think they had white supremacist tendencies. I've said this before on another thread about this name. Lots of people don't know it's from Game of Thrones and those 'Aryan' connotations would make me very uncomfortable tbh.

Shame, because in itself it is a pretty name!

I know a baby Arya. Mother is SAHM, father is hand of the king in IT. Both are huge Game of Thrones fans.

Like Hitler and go on EDL marches would be my best guess. I don't think it's very pretty either, what about Aria or Anya instead?
