Or a baby Malcolm? Baby Barry? Baby Kevin?

Just thinking about baby names you don't see very often now. Lots of retro/traditional names coming round again...Albie, Eric, Walter, Henry etc but will we ever see a resurgence of this middling names?!!

Baby Bernard anyone???

Still lots of baby Kevins in Ireland.

As for the other names, they'll definitely stage a comeback. In fact, your own grandson could be called Nigel. It'll be all the rage, and you'll pull the same face that old ladies these days pull when hearing of babies being called Archie and Lily.

I know a baby Kevin, Dave, Stephen and Philip. I'd think it was 1975 but there is no Jane, Louise or Denise.

ButtonBoo · 12/11/2012 17:14

Little Alan!! And Baby Dave. Love it.

And for the girls? Baby Tracy. Baby Sharon. Baby Michelle.

Doesn't Ulrika Johnsson have a son called Malcolm? Wouldn't be high on my list of baby names! Colin? Norman?

squoosh · 12/11/2012 17:27

In Scotland there are loads of young, hip guys called Gordon, Malcolm and Colin.

I did snigger at first but now I've become so desensitized that I don't even bat an eye when meeting a 20 something Gordon!

melliebobs · 12/11/2012 17:28

Theas18 · 12/11/2012 17:30

How about baby Kenneth or baby Keith?

There are boys at school called Keith and Douglas - I presume they were babies once. Quite recently in fact Grin
