coriander?!

I'm thinking of calling my next daughter coriander, what do you all think?

math thanks for that I was wondering what this herb was that all the american cooking programmes used that looked like coriander.

Great spice, nice herb, awful name.

My first thought was of the spice so you could try Cumin, Caraway, Ginger, Black Mustard....

Any thoughts on cardamom? Been telling DH about comments on here and he suggested that as alternative

You do hear Saffron though... Never Tumeric, Garam Masala or Garlic (equally fine ingredients)

I mean it's awful but it's a name and it's a black onion seed.

Nigella flowers are pretty enough. The Lawson connection is enough for me not to sew any. Annoying woman.

Thyme and tide wait for no man though! Not set on a middle name, did think coriander/cardamom patricia has a lovely flow to it.
