What do you think of the name Nancy?

Is it fun or do all the bad Nancys ruin it? Beth Orton's daughter is called Nancy apparently.

I like it. Swallows and Amazons, and a lovely relative spring to mind.

I love it. When we were choosing a girl's name for DS2 (before we saw the winkie), all our names seemed (honestly by chance) to have heroin connotations:

I love it and I don't think it would be shortened necessarily to the awful nan or nance, no one has ever shortened my name: Anthea, to the expected 'Ann' or 'Thea' ...although I think i would have liked Thea.

It's my DM's name, she bloody hates it :(
