Juliet

NarkedRaspberry · 06/07/2012 13:48

The meaning of Dolores would put me off ever using it - sorrows Sad. I know it comes from a name for the Virgin Mary, but I couldn't call a child that.

squeak2392 · 06/07/2012 16:20

Juliet, by far.

Jackie432 · 13/07/2012 16:39

I really like Lola.

Roselilly36 · 17/11/2021 20:10

Charlotte

Luredbyapomegranate · 17/11/2021 20:17

Juliet is great.

I love Charlotte but way way overused

Lola is very undistinguished in comparison to either, It's a bit of a stripper name.

WhatHoMarjorie · 17/11/2021 20:18

Juliet

ItsSunnyOutside · 17/11/2021 20:18

Juliet ,for sure

BiscuitLover09876 · 17/11/2021 20:25

Juliet. It feels classy, timeless and more interesting than Charlotte. Although Charlotte is still nice.

Lola is sweet but feels a bit common or a 2 year old.

Iamanicepersonreally · 17/11/2021 20:26

Charlotte

Tractordiggerdump · 17/11/2021 20:30

Charlotte

Suzi888 · 17/11/2021 20:34

Charlotte but it is very popular. I like Juliet but don’t like ‘Ju’. I don’t like Lola at all …. Copacabana (sorry). I am old though! Lol

Oneforthemoneytwo · 17/11/2021 20:37

Lola is not a proper name. Lola, Coco, mimi all stupid names. And I am the last person to insist on full names on BC.

Undertheoldlindentree · 17/11/2021 20:39

Juliet - so pretty, so classic. I wouldn't be keen on 'Julie/Ju/Jules' as shortenings - but focusing on the ending, 'Lettie', 'Etta' or 'Ettie' are all possibilities.

ILoveShula · 17/11/2021 22:34

Charlotte by a long shot

Lola is awful
Juliet is nice but some will say it as Julie-ette

ofwarren · 17/11/2021 22:36

Juliet and Charlotte are lovely.
I really don't like Lola. 🎵 She was a showgirl...🎵

ofwarren · 17/11/2021 22:37

Charlotte by a long shot

How do you pronounce Juliet?
Frazzled2207 · 17/11/2021 22:37

Juliet

Also like Charlotte

Not keen on Lola

Viviennemary · 17/11/2021 22:38

Lola is pretty awful. Juliet and charlotte are both ok.

MatildaJayne · 17/11/2021 22:42

Juliet. I had a friend called Juliet and it was never abbreviated, it was always Juliet. Really pretty.

Charlotte is OK.

Dislike Lola.

BrutusMcDogface · 17/11/2021 22:44

Juliet is pretty and also quite unusual nowadays; she wouldn’t be one of 5 in her class. Would you spell it Juliette? Actually I knew a Julia whose nickname was Jude, which I bloody love.

There are loads and loads of Charlottes around, and Lola doesn’t appeal to me at all.
