Sister for Archie with a very Scottish surname

DD will be nameless at this rate so I need a nice name which will go with our mc Scottish surname and sits nicely with Archie.
So far I like holly and Isla and dh likes Mary.

Any advances? Mary reminds me of an old aunt. Holly... not sure if a summer baby should be named with a christmassy name?

What do you all think? I love Molly but dh vetoed as had a dog called this.

Nothing wrong with the name Holly for a summer baby - it's an evergreen plant.

Good point. Dh thinks too popular as in Willoughby.

Loads of islas here in north east scotland. What about Iona? Or Morag, Eilidh, Kirsteen, Catriona

Flora? I like Isla though, if DS had been a DD he would have been Isla!

Holly sounds very 1980s to me, but Isla is beautiful :)

Name doesn't have to be Scottish itself just go with a long mc surname.

I think Isla might becoming out on top. Iona is one of my mums friends and she is a bit stern.

Holly is a lovely name, and fine for a summer baby.

Rowan is lovely. But we would pronounce it rowan is an having a big row and my relatives down there would say row as in boat.
