FWIW I think it's a nice, quirky name and I'm happy for them both - after everything they've been through I'm glad they finally have their much wanted and healthy daughter.

But I have to agree - Ethel isnt quirky, its hideous and so ridiculously try hard.

I am very happy for Lily after everything she went through, but I also agree with Kaekae, horrible name if that's what she and Sam have chosen.

I love Ethel! I think it is really cute, and has Ettie for a nn too.

Oh dear - I think Lily is lovely and I am very happy for her, but Ethel and Mary are rather grim names, imo.

Ooh I like Mary. Not so keen on Ethel but each to their own.
