What do you think of this name for a boy:

Jensen Beau Goodwin

Ds was a Georgia until the 20 week scan! Lovely name. Fingers crossed you'll have a girl.

I dont want to hurt him i just need a nice name that he will go for if the baby is a boy!

I have vetoed Skeet, skip and Alice and cooper.

I like Alice, but not if it is naming a baby after Alice Cooper.

Also I'm Welsh and DH is English.

Try the school register approach. Write out a list of normal names and read them out including one of your dh's choices. Hopefully that may help him realise how barking his choices are. Or get him a dog he can name Skeet.

Bryn it is then. I like it and you have a legitimate claim to it. Plus it isn't that odd. I am not convinced about the way you get to do the girls names and him the boys names, all it takes is for him to think up 11 odd names. How did your son end up with a normal name?

Was going to mention the sex god that is Jensen Ackles but SoH has beaten me to it.

When we first moved in together and we had a row if it was getting out of hand one of us would shout Air to the other and we would stop fighting and do something else then come back to the issue once we had calmed down.
Then we meet a little bot called Arron who know all the words to a mcfly song and he was really cool so we decided on Aaron (Air-ron). Also it means high mountian in hebrew and my DH name means Vally so it just kind of worked. George is after my Granddad.

I think its going to be Bryn as it means hill in welsh, i'm welsh so it gets that in and on one else in the family has that name and its at least reasonable and my husband likes it.

My DH liked Jensen for a boy. He's a massive F1 fan so he was thinking along the lines of Jensen Button. He also liked Harrison but wanted his middle name to be Ford - then added Mondeo for a laugh...Harrison Ford Mondeo

Beau is a bit girly though IMO.

I'd probably avoid Francis though. DH wanted Michael as a middle name for DS but I always have to think very hard before writing it as I always get the a and e at the end the wrong way round and I didn't want to be spelling my DS's name wrong every time I filled a form in. You've written Francis as Franics everytime you've mentioned it so maybe you have a similar mental block with that name?
